Garland care is quite similar to wreath care, as they both are made from the same plant material. Location, climate, and placement are all primary factors in how long your garland will last.

  • Care instructions are found on the inside flap of the box.
  • It is always a good idea to hang garland outside. Because the product is breathing, fresh air will extend the lifespan of the garland.
  • Some customers really want their garland inside of their home and that is understandable. If you place your garland inside, it will last about 3 weeks when properly cared for.
  • Outdoors, garland will last approximately 4-6 weeks with regular watering.
  • Climate and direct sunlight drastically affect how long your garland will last. Hanging your garland in a cool location with a good amount of shade will help your garland live longer.
  • Garland absorbs moisture through the cut ends of the evergreen branches. To really increase the health and lifespan of your garland, spritz water onto the cut ends every 2-3 days.
  • If placed indoors, keep garland away from heat sources that may dry them out such as direct sunlight, heat vents, or open flame. Always keep garland away from ignition sources.
  • If you place candles anywhere near the garland, make sure candle flames are at least 4" away from the greenery. Never leave candles burning unattended.
